The event proposes a reflection on the challenges that the new European policy framework linked to the ecological transition poses to citizens’ participation in public policies. It is structured in two parts. The first part consist of a reflection on the relationship between innovation and participation, through the presentation of some experiences of research and administrative action. The second part develops a debate on the ridge between theory and practice on some key issues related to ecological transition: ecosystem services, agriculture and new food chains, energy communities, environment and social movements. At the end of the day there will be a brainstorming session on how to foster citizen participation to implement environmental transition.
