The European Union, aiming to achieve knowledge-based economic development, has given a strategic role to universities, training and guidance. If one examines the documents relating to the Lisbon Strategy, the Bologna Process and the Copenhagen Process, one can see that EU policy in the fields of education and training gives ample space to a new way of understanding training and guidance, focusing them on the person, on individual paths and on the skills gained rather than on standardized and informative paths.
Through the perspective lens of orientation, interpreted as a key action to support upskilling pathways in a lifelong oriented logic, the workshops promoted by FORLIPSI in collaboration with Pluriversum, a consulting company specialized in the field of orientation and partner of Giovani Sì for the orientation projects of the Tuscany Region, is an opportunity to offer a training opportunity for university students, primary and secondary school teachers, on new trajectories of educational guidance.
The aim is also to induce reflection on the close correlation that exists between guidance, social justice and sustainability as also suggested by the interconnection between the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN, 2015) and the strategic indications contained in the European Agenda for Skills. During the events, trajectories will be offered for the definition of training and teaching tools, enhancing the experience gained by the proponents through national and international projects.
