The product is part of the European Project “CommUnity” coordinated by Prof. Raffaella Biagioli.
The video is the representation of a musical and theatrical performance conceived by the UniFI research group (Prof. Raffaella Biagioli, Dr. Maria Grazia Proli, Dr. Valentina Guerrini) and implemented by a group of students and former students of the University of Florence.
The setting is the city of Florence, from Piazzale Michelangelo to the Parco delle Cascine, passing through the historical centre and the suburbs. The theme is that of encounter, in a dialogue between cultures that contaminate and evolve in time and space, where music and words are means of communication to build bridges and tie the threads of existence together.
Interculturality is expressed through the study of sounds that blend various cultural traditions of the Mediterranean sewn together by a narrative. The music and lyrics of the songs in the video are original.
