The European opportunities for school education can count on one more weapon to involve schools in our country with Erasmus + School Ambassadors.
There are over 260 teachers, managers and school staff, experts in European design for schools, who in these days will be appointed Ambassadors of the European Program for the School Education sector by the Indire Erasmus + National Agency.
The new network – which represents an evolution of the experience carried out by the Ambassadors of the eTwinning community, active since 2009 – is made up of teachers, school managers and school staff with the aim of disseminating knowledge of the opportunities offered by the Program at a regional level. Erasmus + and eTwinning and promote the internationalization of schools in the Italian territory.
The members of the network have been selected nationally to support the activities of the Erasmus + Indire Agency in collaboration with the Regional School Offices, to offer training, promotion and guidance on the Program also through the organization of regional and national seminars.
The inauguration ceremony of the new network will take place on May 10 as part of the Festival d’Europa event in Florence, as part of a two-day coordination event for the new group.
